GRE General Test Preparation This course prepares students for taking the general GRE as they prepare for applying to graduate school. Students will learn test taking strategies for the general test as well as any other testing situation. Students will learn the type of questions presented on the exam and learn to identify the purpose and goals of questions in order to better understand them. Review of verbal and quantitative content as well as writing will further prepare students for the GRE. This hybrid course will have an online portion requiring access to Blackboard. A total of six hours of asynchronous learning will occur where students will take a 3-hour pre-test similar to the GRE-timed test as well as a timed 3-hour post test. These tests will be written in Respondus and posted on Blackboard. This allows for the instructor to record and restrict the time students are taking the test. Prerequisites: Must have completed ENG204 or the equivalent OR permission of the instructor. Instructor:Charlene Sorensen and Daniel Lundberg Questions: cpso@gallaudet.edu |
